New Hartford, Satan's Kingdom, Blacks, Indians and renegade whites lived there. There is a big cave
rock shelter on the hillside.

I was also told that the road from Sheffield Center to route 41 was a terminus of the Underground Railroad. There
were shacks/houses where blacks lived.

Also should be checked out, areas/settlements (terminus settlements) with the name Black, Negro. including brooks, mountains. etc.
